Why offer a free group ADR session?
-
Rebeloop trains year-round and adding your film to our workouts costs us nothing.
-
Actors get to work on new material that matters over older scenes that have already been covered.
-
We get to contribute to a film we believe in, while you experience firsthand how well-executed Group ADR can elevate a project.
The nitty-gritty on OpenLoop:
- Session Limit: One complimentary session per project.
- Schedule: OpenLoop sessions run once per quarter, typically on Thursday nights from 6-9pm (PST) at Digital One.
- Cue Sheets: You agree to spot your scenes on our cue sheet template, ranked in order of importance. The cue sheet and a timecoded QuickTime file are due one week before the session.
- Picture Status: Picture doesn’t have to be locked. Scenes from a film you are still cutting are perfectly fine.
- Attendance: Come sit in the room with us, or join remotely if that’s easier.
- Deliverables: You receive organized, in-sync raw files to cut with from a full Pro Tools session—including selects, alt takes, and the cue sheet returned with engineer notes. Session files are usually sent the next day and are not edited, comped, or mixed.
- Rights: Whatever we record during the session is yours to use in your film. No third-party use, commercial reuse, or AI voice training, cloning, or synthesis is permitted without a new agreement.
- The Trade: In exchange, we require credit for Rebeloop, the contributing actors, and Digital One, along with permission to use images and short clips of the actors and staff working during the session. These clips and photos will be featured on our websites and social media channels.
- If your project isn’t a fit for OpenLoop, submit anyway. We will present alternative solutions if possible.
