Why offer a complimentary group ADR session?
- To earn trust and strengthen our relationships.
- So more actors get real world experience working on great projects.
- Because we all know the ‘first taste is free, but it’s so good you’ll be back’ business model works pretty well.
Here’s the nitty-gritty on Open Loop:
- Digital One and Rebeloop offer four Open Loop sessions per year.
- Limited to one free session per project.
- Open Loop Sessions are typically held Thursday nights from 6-9pm (PST).
- Project directors are strongly advised to fill out a cue sheet in order of importance to best manage the efficiency of the session, and will need to provide necessary materials one week prior to the Open Loop session.
- Full ProTools raw, in sync session files will usually be delivered the next day along with the final cue sheet and engineer notes. (note: material is not edited, comped or mixed)
- Whatever is captured in that 2-3 session window is yours to keep, but usage is limited to your project (no 3rd party, commercial, or training modeling allowed without a new agreement).
- In trade, Rebeloop and its actors ask to be property credited, while Digital One and Rebeloop ask that approved images and video clips from the session be allowed for promotion and educational use on their website and socials.
- Note: for projects that do not qualify, we’ll make sure to provide other viable solutions.
