Blaine studied improv technique with members of Living Stage, The Committee, Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings. He has worked opposite film stars Hayley Erin and Sonya Walger in New Life, Amanda Seyfried in Gone, and Reese Witherspoon in Wild. He played a very sketchy undertaker on NBC’s Grimm, along with appearances on Portlandia and Shrill. Some of Blaine’s favorite work has been playing offbeat characters in commercials with Wieden + Kennedy, directed by Mike Egan, Eric Fensler and Mike Warzin. Blaine teaches workshops in improvisation technique.
