Current RebeLoop Members
Group Director, ADR Casting
Former copywriter, broadcast producer turned full-time actor in 2007, Mike continues to lend his voice to a wide variety of projects while heading up RebeLoop. Russ Gorsline at Rex Post once asked Mike for a loop group estimate, and wondering why there were no loop groups in the area, Mike decided to build one, this one, from the ground up.
Group Coordinator, Creative Services
Kimberly Poe AKA “Mystic Kimberly” delights in helping dreams come true for herself and others. A Portland native, she serves in many realms of business and the creative arts. Kimberly is a business consultant, writer, singer, artist, songwriter, web developer, motivational coach, entrepreneur, producer, director, archivist, actor, idea maven and nightbird.
Karyn has performed on stage, camera, mic for over 25 years. As a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she continues her training with specialty acting, voiceover, and vocal coaches, including four years of Improvisation Technique. Karyn’s also an Earphones Award-winning narrator, an Audie Award nominee, has a knack for finding four-leaf clovers, and makes damn fine waffles.
He jokes he's a really good, mediocre lip reader (he's excellent), and his "efforts" work is strong. Doesn't hurt that you'll also find him training in stunts and on-camera acting. He adds, "Being part of a Loop Group is one of the more fun, hardest and rewardings forms of acting. I love filling in those missing holes... wait that came out wrong."
Versatile voiceover actor Lev Liberman has portrayed hundreds of quirky characters in videogames, commercials, and films -- expostulating in a wide range of dialects including Brouhaha and Glossolalia. He plays the sax with what one critic described as "haunting tenderness," and for a brief, glorious time enjoyed the perks of being a minor popstar in France.
Paige Johnson Jones
Paige has voiced radio commercials for numerous clients, narrated dozens of audiobooks, acted in film and television, and even performed to acclaim on stages in Oregon, Colorado, New York, and Germany. Called in for an ADR session for a recent TV appearance, Paige learned how challenging and fun looping can be.
Jen rocks the trustworthy, caring characters while still carrying some authority. She uses her classical singing voice in both work and play. In her spare time she enjoys restoring and using cast iron cookware.
From New York to Moscow, Toon Town to Middle Earth, Jacin's acc-sensual voice talents are out of this world. Growing from his passion for old time radio, he's an actor and producer in Portland's top radio theatre companies: Tesla City Stories and The Willamette Radio Workshop. At RebeLoop, he lends his dynamic voice for any task and he's always ready for some snappy improvisation.
Experience abounds. She's an actor working as an audio book narrator and producer; with a backgroud in broadcast production to boot. We're lucky to have her back in her hometown after her stints down in So-Cal. She recently appeared in Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" with Exp. Theatre Project and loves nothing getting the voices out of her head and onto soundtracks.
Not long after she co-produced and played the role of May in Eastern Standard (with the wonderful Bryan Cranston), Karen began running camera and directing actors in casting sessions for Melissa Martin and many other casting directors in LA. Years later she created her own casting company, Pogo Casting. Karen then moved to Portland to teach acting and is thrilled to return to her roots as an actor.
Special Teams: TEENS
When projects call for teen voices, we call Claire Verity because she does an outstanding job as the Drama Club Advisor at Battle Ground High School. We brought in her students for multiple days on our work in My Summer As a Goth, and then again for more loop group training. They always deliver and for that we are grateful to all our talented youngerters.
Audio Engineer, Rex Post
Arriving at REX Post after completing the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona, Houston quickly discovered his knack for both studio engineering and location sound recording. Not only is he involved in production mixing, Foley, ADR recording, sound design, VO recording and editing, music recording and mixing, he's also intragle.
